    Start your project with a personal consultation with our lead cake designer. Together we'll arrange tastings and start designing the wedding cake of your dreams.

Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should I place my wedding cake order?

Please schedule at least 4-6 months. We recommend checking our availability as soon as you have a venue booked to avoid disappointment. Send us an email if you are unsure at info@bbcafe.ca.

Do you provide tasting boxes?

Yes. Our tasting boxes include 4 flavours of your choice in mini cakes shareable between you and your honey. This is complimentary with a signed Custom Cake agreement that is greater than $700. If you wish to have a tasting before signing the contract, the box fee is $50.

At BB Cafe's Thornhill location orders can be picked up and private cake tastings can be booked for weddings and custom cakes.

Will you deliver the cake to the venue on my wedding day?

Yes! Please email us at info@bbcafe.ca to schedule your delivery or request a quote.

Can I have whipped cream in my wedding cake?

That’s our specialty! It’s true, Whipped Cream is delicious. Knowing how important the taste of a wedding cake is, we had to offer it in our tiered cakes as well.

Can I have a grand tiered cake even with an intimate guest count?

Absolutely. We can add styrofoam tiers for decorative purposes to any cake. Please note, the price of a styrofoam tier is about the same as a real cake tier. 

Can I place an order for my bespoke wedding cake on this website?

There are 7 BB cafe locations across the GTA however wedding and tiered cakes are created at BB Cafe's Thornhill location:

All wedding cakes are picked up from this location and all tastings are held here!

How much does a custom cake cost?

All cakes are priced based on a number of variables including serving size, tiers, materials, flavour, ingredients, florals, design details etc. Delivery, location of venue and rentals (i.e cake stand, cutting utensils) will affect your total invoice as well.

As a general idea, multiple tiered wedding cakes range from $10-$18 per person and bespoke wedding cake orders require a minimun spend of $1000.

We discuss budget in the first step of our custom cake order process in order for us to customize a design and material accordingly.
